I left Billingham in 1983 and, other than two years in York, I spent the following 22 years living, studying, and working in the cosmopolitan city of Edinburgh, Scotland.
In February 2002 I met Frances. Long story short, in April 2005 I moved to Washington State, USA. May of the same year, Frances and I were married.
